Our ASD Preschool Childcare program serves children ages 3–5, supporting school readiness and early learning through play-based experiences and nurturing relationships. Children build important skills in language, social development, and problem solving to help them succeed in kindergarten and beyond. The program supports parents by providing reliable care aligned with the Anchorage School District school-year schedule. Families also benefit from connection with staff and support in their child’s early learning journey. Tuition is $1,200 per month, and Child Care Assistance is accepted for eligible families. Full-Day Preschool Childcare
A dedicated classroom with 17 spaces is reserved for children of ASD employees providing reliable care aligned with the district school-year schedule (August through May), Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Head Start has made such a great impact on my family. My daughter loves to go to school and comes home telling me what she did. I am looking forward to having my 2 younger sons attend Head Start. I am super glad and appreciate Head Start and everything they do for my family.
