Under direction of the Executive Director, is responsible for assisting with the fiscal and business operations of Kids’ Corps, Inc. In accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and other applicable regulations and their subsequent amendments, this position:
Lead Parent Educator
Provides supervision and support for the Parent Educator in the performance of their duties. Provides Parents as Teachers services for eight families by working in partnership with families in their home to meet their unique needs through strengths-based assessment and goal setting. This position works with pregnant mothers, and parents who have children birth to five years of age to understand child growth and development and to enhance their role as their child’s first and lifelong teacher. Emphasis is placed on the home being the child’s primary learning environment.
Head Start Teacher
Support education opportunities for children and families by assisting, providing and implementing a quality developmentally appropriate preschool experience for children enrolled. Conduct home visits with families to emphasize the home as the child’s primary learning environment.
Support education opportunities for children and families by assisting the Head Start teacher in providing and implementing a quality developmentally appropriate preschool experience for children enrolled.
Performs a wide variety of tasks that are designed to meet the program needs for a clean, safe, and compliant environment for young children.
